I AM LIKE A SMALL UNIVERSE, A SMALL SPACE, AND A SMALL EARTH. THE SMALL EARTH OR UNIVERSE CONNECTS WITH THE BIG UNIVERSE. IN THIS MANNER, WE CAN BETTER CONNECT WITH AND RETURN TO HEAVEN AND EARTH. THE PRACTICE OF BALANCING BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT IS THE BASIC CRITERIA TO STAY HEALTHY. IF THE ENERGY ON ONE SIDE IS TOO STRONG WHILE THE OTHER SIDE IS TOO WEAK, IT IS A SICK CONDITION. BESIDES BALANCING THE LEFT AND RIGHT, THE UP AND DOWN SHOULD BE BALANCED AS WELL. SO THE ENERGY FLOWS TO FEET AND LIMBS. IT IS WRONG IF THE ENERGY ONLY FLOWS UP OR DOWN. AND WE DO NOT USE FORCE NO MATTER HOW POWERFUL THE POSTURE AND MOVEMENT LOOK. WHEN HOLDING YOUR HANDS, SOMEONE CAN PRESS THEM DOWN WITH GENTLE PRESSURE. WHEN YOU'RE HOLDING UP YOUR ARM, PERSIST UNTIL YOU CAN'T HOLD UP ANYMORE. AFTER WALKING FOR A PERIOD OF TIME, MAY BE IN 1 YEAR OR MORE,YOU CAN HOLD ON FOR A LONGER TIME. FOR ME, THE LONGEST I CAN STAND LIKE THIS IS FOR 1.5 HOURS. WE'VE REALIZED NO MATTER HOW POWERFUL A KUNG FU MASTER HIMSELF TO BE, HOW LONG CAN HE HOLD IN THIS POSITION? NO MATTER HOW STRONG AND MASCULINE A PERSON LOOKS LIKE, HOW LONG CAN HE HOLD UP HIS ARMS? TRY IT. NOT MANY PEOPLE CAN HOLD THEM UP FOR 15 MINUTES. SO THOSE WHO CAN HOLD THEIR ARMS FOR AN HOUR CAN BEAT PEOPLE TO DEATH WITH JUST ONE MOVE. SUCH STATE OF THE ENERGY CAN RARELY BE ACHIEVED. IT'S NOT STRUGGLING. , IT SHOULD BE VERY RELAXED AND I CAN EVEN SING WHILE PRACTICING. IT IS LIKE THAT. WHEN IT IS APPLIED TO MARTIAL ART, IT CAN BE EXTREMELY POWERFUL WITH THE EXPLOSIVE ENERGY. HOWEVER, WHEN WE USE IT TO ENHANCE OUR WELL-BEING, SUCH SENSE OF ENERGY IS TO REMIND US THAT ENERGY BAGUA IS VERY HELPFUL FOR IMPROVING OUR HEALTH. NEXT IS THE POSITION OF THE FEET. WHEN WE'RE WALKING, DON'T DELIBERATELY FIX THE INNER FOOT POINTING STRAIGHT AND THE OUTER FOOT INWARD. IT IS FINE AS LONG AS WE HAVE THAT FUNDAMENTAL IDEA IN MIND. DON'T DO IT TOO INTENTIONALLY. BUT WHEN WE NEED TO TURN, BOTH FEET SHOULD ALWAYS KEEP THE TOES POINTING INWARDS. WHY? I DON'T.
